I wanted you to be able to hold it in your hands, or close to it — so I modeled it all in 3D. Just below, the Original and the Premium: open them, turn them around, zoom in, and discover the accessories and features built into each.
The Original Roller
The first one truly finished — the day every part finally came together. Patented internal geometry, with the Humidifier and the Large Tamper I wanted from the very start. Comes in the complete Original Box, always black.

The Premium Roller
The same invention, refined by my testers: three additions built for comfort — the Pusher, the Support Clamp, the magnets. You'll see them in action in the "Making a Batte" animation. Comes in 2 premium boxes, across four collections.

Your box, three choices.
One patented mechanism, three levels of equipment — yours to choose.

What's inside each box, in detail
Three boxes, all complete. The Original and the Premium share exactly the same case and the same accessories: only the Roller (Original or Premium) and the color change. The Original stays all black; the Premium comes in four collections. The Premium Max carries the Premium in a larger, modular case — its lid folds out into a prep surface and a small portable box. Collections, prices, details: it's all in the shop.
Unbox them before anyone else.
Open them, unbox them, switch collections. Then head to the shop to pick yours.
What's in the box, and how it's stored
Every box is complete: the Roller, its essential accessories, and comfort or finishing pieces. The "all-inclusive" spirit — you don't have to use everything, it's all there, included. Each piece's role is detailed in the how-it-works guide.
- The Roller (Original or Premium, depending on the box)
- The Humidifier and the Large Tamper
- The Sizing Gauge, and 4 meters of paper (learning kit included)
- Storage and comfort accessories
And everything is fitted so precisely that the box travels without a single part shifting — the 3D unboxing shows you how.

Prototypes that are 100% functional.
For almost a month and a half now, I've been printing 100% functional prototypes — they refine every measurement to a tenth of a millimeter and form my first stock. Every photo on the site comes from them.

Behind the scenes, in detail
When I decided to launch La Batte with my final cases, there was only one thing missing: making sure I could start series production, with perfect print configurations and machines suited to that standard. I didn't want to wait — for almost a month and a half now, I've been printing 100% functional prototypes on my current machine (good quality, but "consumer-grade"). They serve me in two ways:
- refining certain part measurements to a tenth of a millimeter (the rod/shell balance, friction points, and so on);
- developing custom print profiles and methods, ready to launch my series production.
And to make the most of it, these adjustments let me build up a small stock — to get them into your hands as fast as possible.
From one model to the next, a part evolves, a rod gains a tenth of a millimeter — the earliest ones don't quite have the finish of the latest, and that's exactly what they're for. They also let me test my colors and their pairings: so on the photos you'll see combinations that don't exist in the shop — the final shades are the ones in the shop. Every prototype box stays complete: a Premium Roller inside, and all the accessories (plus the learning kit), the same from one box to the next. On the mechanical side, my own Roller is older than all these prototypes — it's the one I've used for every test, and it still rolls like day one. All the photos, in fact, come from these prototypes.
That's the whole point of this campaign: it funds the professional machines that will deliver the finish level I'm aiming for — and that I know I can reach. As soon as they're received and installed, the first box ships within the very first week of production.
3D info — To give you a sense of scale: a single Premium Box takes 31 hours of non-stop printing — more than a full day — then close to 5 hours by hand, 3 of which are spent just removing supports one by one and sorting the parts. On the material side, you receive about 280 g (9.88 oz) of finished parts, but I print close to 349 g (12.31 oz): the rest goes into supports and color purges with every shade change. That's exactly what the new machines will ease — supports that are much easier to remove, and several print heads to waste far less material and cut these times down.

See the Roller in action
On request, I can share 2 full demonstrations: one with the Original Roller and one with the Premium Roller, in which I run through:
- — a Classic Batte (11 cm / 4.3 in)
- — a King Size Batte (13 cm / 5.2 in)
- — and a King Size Batte (13 cm / 5.2 in) made "the French method" (trimming the excess paper before rolling)
You'll also find 4 short clips freely available on the How It Works page.
My only advertising is you.
For a product like this one, no traditional advertising, no crowdfunding platform: this campaign is my site, direct, with no middleman. My visibility comes down to one thing — sharing.

Sharing, pros & partners
If you like the work — even if the invention isn't for you — share it: somewhere around you, there's bound to be someone this precision would make happy. I'm not encouraging anyone to do anything; I just want to introduce real craftsmanship quality to 1,000 people. The "wow" effect, you'll handle that on your own soon enough.
CALLING ALL PROFESSIONALS & PARTNERS
Going forward, I'll need professionals by my side — and I'm open to hearing from you starting today:
- — Specialty shops & retailers: do you run a shop, or grow legal herbs & botanicals? Let's talk partnership — I can look into tailored collections, so we might as well plan ahead together. And taking part in the campaign means trying the technology before offering it.
- — Series production: experience running a fleet of 10 to 20 printers working nearly 24/7 — which machines to choose, what to avoid.
- — International patent: in France, the legal herbs & botanicals industry is still young — the legal framework only opened up recently. Elsewhere, in places where this market has existed for much longer, an invention like mine could be in high demand. If you know these foreign markets, or the steps needed to expand into them, I'd love to talk.
- — Photo & video: I've done absolutely everything myself — from the invention to the 3D renders, right down to the site you're browsing. But photography and video editing aren't my trade. I'm looking for a photographer / videographer able to showcase the product and cut real clips, to give it all the spotlight it deserves.
I'm open to anything: I'm looking for visibility to reach the 1,000-piece goal, and I stand behind what I'm offering — I'm happy to talk about it with anyone interested. Always within the same framework: no one is encouraged to use or consume anything, and everything stays within the legal framework. Write to me — I reply to every message within 48 hours.
Through the contact page or by direct message on social media.
Every Roller leaves my "living-room workshop" checked one by one. Any issue at all? Write to me: I always answer.
