9. Retention and deletion
Your data is retained for the periods indicated in Article 4. At the end of these periods, it is:
Permanently deleted, OR
Anonymized (for statistical purposes)
Specific case of prize draws (the "It's a Gift!" page):
Entries from non-winners (username, email, proof of sharing): 12 months after the close of the draw, then permanent deletion.
Data of winners: 5 years (accounting and tax obligations related to the handing over of the prize).
Screenshots submitted: as a rule, deleted at the close of the draw; by way of exception, if a screenshot is necessary as proof for the handing over of a prize, it is kept for 12 months maximum after the close, solely for evidential purposes, then permanently deleted.
Accounting and tax data: 10 years (legal obligation).
10. International transfers
Some of our sub-processors (in particular Google Analytics) may transfer data outside the EU. In such cases, these transfers are governed by:
